Welcome to my tutorial on how to create a fluid camera that follows the player (or anything else) in Game Maker Studio 2! We'll also look at how to zoom the camera and make the screen shake with a screenshake effect.
In this video, I continued with the basic platformer project I did in the last tutorial (or platformer, or platform game, you name it), but this method can be applied to any project.
I've tried to explain everything in a simple and accessible way, for those who are just starting out in game development. But if I haven't been clear enough, feel free to insult me in the comments.
If you have any questions or problems, leave a comment and I'll try to help as much as I can.
I also recommend joining the Discord server, where you'll find other people willing to help!
