My name is Martin Godoy, flutist and dancer and have been accepted into Domaine Forget Music and dance academy summer 2014.
As a flutist, music has been a part of my life since I was in the 6th grade and have had wonderful teachers and had some great successes. I have not had dance in my life as long but it stacks up there with music for its physically expressive qualities. I recently choreographed and danced to four different movements of Vivaldi's Four Seasons and last year I experimented with my first flute and dance piece to Rachmaninoff's Vocalise as a tribute to my niece, Bella.
Domaine Forget is a way for me to grow both as a musicician and a dancer. The well-known faculty at this academy will surely help me build on tying my two passions together to create more dance and flute
