Offset, Trim, Mirror, Break, Extend, Elliptical Arc commands in AUTOCAD 2025
OFFSET
Type "OFFSET" in the command line and press Enter.
Specify the distance to offset.
Select the object to offset and press Enter.
Specify the side to offset by clicking a point.
TRIM
Type "TRIM" in the command line and press Enter.
Select the cutting edges (objects that will trim other objects).
Press Enter to finish selecting cutting edges.
Select the objects to trim and press Enter.
MIRROR
Type "MIRROR" in the command line and press Enter.
Select the objects to mirror and press Enter.
Specify the first point of the mirror line.
Specify the second point of the mirror line.
Specify if you want to delete the original objects.
BREAK
Type "BREAK" in the command line and press Enter.
Select the object to break.
Specify the first break point.
Specify the second break point.
EXTEND
Type "EXTEND" in the command line and press Enter.
Select the boundary edges (objects that will be extended to).
Press Enter to finish selecting boundary edges.
Select the objects to extend and press Enter.
ELLIPSE
Type "ELLIPSE" in the command line and press Enter.
Specify the center point of the ellipse.
Specify the endpoint of the major axis.
Specify the endpoint of the minor axis.
ELLIPTICAL ARC
Type "ELLIPSE" in the command line and press Enter.
Specify the center point of the elliptical arc.
Specify the endpoint of the major axis.
Specify the endpoint of the minor axis.
Specify the start angle of the arc.
Specify the end angle of the arc
