These days tech support is on its highest peak. People are getting bulk of emails and notification regarding technical support.
How Tech support works?
It starts with a campaign where the tech support team distributes their program( virus script) to the marketing team.
Then the marketing team tries to inject it in you PC by sending you emails regarding some survey or by making the script download compulsory as an add-on with some programs or by opening pop up’s on various websites or injecting the scripts into some nulled software’s( cracked or free download of premium version ).
When the script is successfully injected into your computer it slows down your computer screen and keep showing you pop up windows to contact support team in order to get rid of them.
When you call them they asks you to select a package and they will fix that for you. After you pays for their package they just do some check-ups and install few anti virus and registry cleaner to foll you and remove their script.
After it your pc gets faster and you will thank them for help :P
But actually they fetched the money from your pocket by targeting you :P
Sometimes they also track down you paypal or credit card details and make falls payments on your name.
And sometimes they keeps attacking your pc after some interval to keep making money from you.
