You feel him before you see him — an itch in your mind, a sense that something wrong is just behind you, stretching tall, arms snaking out like tendrils, waiting. He doesn't chase. He waits. Always watching. Always closer than you think.
Now that he is on your mind… He will begin looking at you…. From far away. Getting closer and closer, more you think about him.
