Which macOS version is lighter or faster
Much is said about the performance of macOS versions, so I decided to do a simple test with 4 macOS versions (High Sierra, Catalina, BigSur and Monterey), the result was quite surprising, because not always the lightest version of macOS was the fastest.
I used MacBook Pro Mid 2014 to do boot speed tests, Safari speed and two benchmark tests (Cinebench and Geekbench).
NOTE: Monterey was installed using OpenCore Legacy Patcher.
