On Telegram, your "Last seen" and "Online" status shows other users when you were last active on the app. By default, this information is visible to everyone, but you can control who sees it or completely hide it. If you choose to hide your status, other people will only see a vague label like "last seen recently" instead of the exact time. This helps protect your privacy while still allowing you to use Telegram normally.
To see and remove the "Last seen recently" status, open the Telegram app and log into your account. Tap the three-line menu in the top left corner and go to "Settings." From there, select "Privacy and Security." Under this section, tap "Last Seen & Online." You will now see three visibility options: "Everybody," "My Contacts," and "Nobody."
If you want to completely hide your activity, select "Nobody." This prevents anyone from seeing your exact last active time or online status. Instead, they will only see a general status such as "recently," "within a week," or "within a month," depending on when you were last active. Telegram also allows you to create exceptions. For example, you can choose specific people who can always see your last seen status, or block certain people from viewing it even if your general setting allows it.
