Davinci Resolve Easy Vignette Tutorial
This Davinci Resolve Vignette tutorial covers the steps for adding a vignette effect for your project. Having Davinci Resolve will speed up creating a vignette since it is a built-in plug-in. Creating a vignette in the free or Studio version of Davinci Resolve is easy. This tutorial will show you the easy way to add a vignette in Resolve. It covers all of the setting of the vignette plugin in Resolve for the basic settings and the advanced settings. The advanced vignette settings allow shapes other than an ellipse to be used as a vignette. It also allows color changes and other effects using the Resolve vignette plugin. We can use vignette to make a spyglass effect in Resolve. In the video I show how to push the vignette plugin a little harder. I use the vignette plugin to colorize one actor in a scene and then make the remaining scene black and white. This is very simple to do in Davinci Resolve. All of the vignette effects can be done in the edit page. No need to use the Fusion page or the color page to make simple vignette in Davinci Resolve. In fact, a very complex vignette effect can be created in the Edit Page very easily in Davinci Resolve 16 or higher.
