22 year old Sikh in US faces racial discrimination
Yet another case of racial discrimination has surfaced in United States of America. A 22-year-old Sikh youth Harmann Singh, studying at the Harvard Law School has been allegedly abused and harassed at a store near the campus by a man who mistook him for a Muslim. The incident has once again raised the vulnerable issue like 'racial discrimination' which will be quite a challenging job for President elect Donald Trump for his anti Muslim remarks. In the past, over 200 incidents of racial discrimination and intimidation across the US have been reported since Trump won the presidential elections. Singh, said he was shopping in a store in Cambridge, Massachusetts, while speaking on the phone with his mother, when a man walked in began abusing him by calling him a Muslim.
