It's nothing new that less and less cameras are sold and we use more cameras on our phones. Today´s phone cameras give us an acceptable quality, but every year their specs advance by leaps and bounds.
For years now they have allowed us to shoot photographs in RAW format, but now they record 4K to 60P, which many cameras can not do and even allow us to record video in LOG and low compression formats.
Many manufacturers have invested many resources in incorporating good optics in their phones, for that reason we now find phones with up to 5 cameras, but is that the solution?
Sure if you are looking for portability, but another option is to use external lenses in the phone, something that does not seem easy, but companies like Sandmarc have solved by creating cases, accessories and lenses that can give more versatility to a phone's camera.
In this case Sandmarc invited me to try the Kit Cinema Wide, which includes the Wide lens (0.56X), a polarizing filter and a set of 3 ND filters.
