Replace overcast and ugly skies using Photoshop
Today, I share with you how I replace overcast skies with pretty clouds. Unfortunately my editing software didn't capture the pop up menus, but I explain what I'm doing to help you follow along.
This tutorial is to share with you how I do it. There are many ways, but this is the one I prefer. If you have a tip please share it in the comments below.
The images you see are for instructional purposes only- they're not deliverable. They still require final edits. I just wanted to show how to drop in a sky and some considerations when doing so.
Some important notes:
1- Use clouds that match the light source of your image.
2- Use a large soft brush when painting on the layer mask.
3- Don't forget to color correct the sky to match the light in your image.
