Dreams PS4: Side Project - *NEW* Heavy Attack Animations!
So I’m not usually too worried about animations with this project. The animations I have now are pretty good. HOWEVER, I do need to update some of them before I move on to other combat mechanics. This includes the heavy attack animations.
I was never sold on the animations for the heavy attacks from the beginning, but they always did the job.... until now. You’ll see by the title (and in the video) that I made BRAND NEW heavy attack animations for this project! I can now say that I’m very satisfied with the outcome and I might not change them ever again. If I do, it’ll be small tweaks here and there, but nothing major.
You’ll also see that there are some neat camera effects going on during combat! This helps sell the effect of how heavy and powerful the long blade really is. But don’t worry, if you’re someone who doesn’t like all that screen shaking and what not... you’ll be able to disable the camera effects in the final version of this game! So yeah, I hope you enjoy.
