Kdenlive How To Use Chroma Key With Title Clips

This is Redfeather from Grep Haxs in this video we will be showing you how to use
Chroma Key with Title Clips in Kdenlive some may no this as blue screen
once you have imported your image into the title clip and have positioned it where you would
like in Kdenlive click OK
bring the title clip to the time line if you do not like the location you can return for further adjustment
in the kdenlive title clip
once it is set the way you like the title clip it is now time to bring in the chroma key
in kdenlive click on effects click on the chroma key drag and drop it into the image
notice there is no see threw quality yet click on the chroma key in the image then click the colour
strip in kdenlive
a change colour box will appear knowing the proper cancelling colour is a must mine just so happens to
be white once you choose the proper colour click OK
notice you can now see threw the image leaving only the parts I wish to see
in kdenlive let us bring in some animation using the chroma key function
for general purposes I am using the same image but creating a new title clip to lesson confusion
in the Kdenlive program
once you import your image and place it where you would like click on animation
click on edit start drag and place it where you want then do the same with edit end start
keep in mind where you place them will give you different scrolling functions
once you have finished picking the animation position click OK and move the title clip
to the time line in Kdenlive
make any necessary adjustments positioning and length once you are satisfied bring in the
chroma key choosing the proper colour needed for transparency
we will try one more technique building a new title clip using the same image and following
all of the prior procedures
but in Kdenlive this time I will to use a dissolve instead of the default affine
I am a little rusty wen it comes to using dissolve for this function or my order of operation could be off
click on the affine in the image go to the arrow button to bring up the drop down list and chose
dissolve
in order to get this to work you have to be on the right track so click on tracks and chose the
appropriate one for Kdenlive then bring in your chroma key and set your proper values there
