MS Excel Datevalue Function Error for Imported date

DATEVALUE function ERROR
This error may occur with data is imported in Excel. In this example data was imported from Royal Bank in Canada.
The Windows System Date format is different for Canada and USA.
The DATEVALUE function converts a date in the form of text to a serial number that Excel can recognize as a date.
The function may return a #VALUE! error if the date_text argument is incompatible with the system's Date and Time settings
