How to Serve Process explained in a simple step-by-step way by Larry Kaye, P.I. and Process Server.
I got a question from a viewer who’s about to serve his first pack of court papers, and he really wants to make sure he gets it right. He asked if I had a video that teaches step by step instructions for serving process. Here’s that video!
The most basic form of serving process:
Step 1: You pick up the service pack that you need to serve.
Step 2: You hold back the Return of Service page (AKA: Affidavit of Service) for yourself.
Step 3: You serve the papers.
Step 4: You take the return of service page and you file it with the clerk of courts.
In its simplest form, that’s all there is to process serving!
