In this episode I’m going to show you how to check for broken links on your website. There’s a plugin specifically made for WordPress that once you install it it’ll scan your website for any broken links that it finds anywhere within your posts, pages, images.
It is a very useful plugin to use because it helps you to identify any broken links that may cause a user experience problem on your site.
The reason why it’s important to monitor broken links on your website is because if a website visitor sees too many broken links they may just decide not to stay on your site and this can mean that you lose a website visitor and he can potentially send a negative signal to the search engines about your website.
I recommend using the plugin and identifying any broken links that may exist and once found fix them.
Once you install the plugin it will begin scanning all the links on your site and will give you a notification if it finds any broken links. You can also customize how it scans your website and how often it does so.
