How to Play Against the French Defense?! / 10-Minute Opening
💡 New column on the channel: "Opening in 10 Minutes," in which I'll try to explain how to play against a specific opening as simply as possible, practically without learning opening theory.
📍 The opening I'd like to focus on is the French Defense. This opening, which arises after the moves 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5, is a solid and fairly strong opening for Black, which is why it's so popular, including at the grandmaster level. The 3. Bd3 line, in my opinion, is an excellent weapon against the "hardcore French Defense."
