Sari (Ariel Tatum), a food analyst at Bowo Foods, finds herself in financial difficulties and agrees to be her best friend, Yasmin (Caitlin Halderman), on a blind date. Yasmin's date turns out to be Utama (Abidzar Al-Ghifari), the heir to the Bowo Foods throne, who has a sinister reputation. Utama himself agreed to the blind date at the urging of his grandfather, Bowo (Slamet Rahardjo). Utama asks Sari to continue the blind date to overcome Eyang Bowo's insistence on matchmaking. Now, Sari must juggle solving her family's financial problems, keeping her identity as a Bowo Foods employee a secret, and being Utama's date.
