Fiat ducato won't start first time fix!
Since I have had my ducato it would never start first turn of key even if I kept it cranking. It would start second crank always. Can't remember error code but it was something about crank sensor missing or weak. Found in the autodata service bulletin that this was a known issue and the fix is to put washers under the crank sensor mount. I used 2 x 1.5mm washers giving me 3mm total. This moves the crank sensor more towards the sensor on the pulley away from the pulley itself. I then gapped to 1.5mm camper now cranks first time always. Hope this helps out fellow campers I have seen this issue pop up on a few forums with no definitive fix
