Phone carriers and devices are designed to protect user privacy, so determining if you've been blocked requires observing how your calls and texts behave when trying to reach the suspected number.
The first method is to place a call to the person. If your call rings once and then goes straight to voicemail, or if it instantly says the line is busy or unavailable without ringing at all, that could be a sign that you've been blocked. However, these same symptoms can also occur if the person's phone is turned off, in airplane mode, or they are in an area with no signal. That’s why this method alone isn’t conclusive.
To verify further, try calling the same number using a different phone, preferably one they don’t recognize — maybe a friend’s or family member’s phone.
