In today’s video, we will be going over the Settings in CaseGuard Studio.
At the top of your Workspace, click “Tools” and select “Settings” from the bottom of the drop-down menu.
In the General Tab of the Setting pop-up, you are able to view your user details, license type, and license expiration date.
To have your agency logo appear on reports, you can add it here.
You are also able to customize the storage folder for CaseGuard Studio, while you are free to change the location, we recommend keeping it within your C-Drive.
The default autosave time is every ten minutes but you can change that by using the up and down arrows here.
Click the “Extensions” tab to view the file types CaseGuard Studio accepts.
If your file is in an extension not on this list, you can simply click on the appropriate file type list of extensions, type “;” then “.” and the extension name. Then hit “Save.”
Click the “Export” tab. Here you have multiple options to choose from depending on your use case, we recommend keeping “Use GPU for video processing” selected.
The “Redacted/Enhanced file name default suffix” is applied to the end of all files that are exported from CaseGuard Studio, allowing for easy file identification and you can change that here.
For “Hardware Acceleration” please ensure that your graphics card is selected.
When you select the “Video” Tab there will be several options to choose from. We encourage you to use the recommended setting.
If the option “Use a faster and smaller AI model for detection” is selectable, enabling it will allow for faster AI detection.
To maximize GPU performance for increased AI detection speed, select “Use parallel detection.”
Before moving on, ensure that your graphics card is selected for AI Detection from the drown-down menu.
Click on the “Audio” tab where you can adjust the “Bleep tone level” for Audio Redactions.
Click the “Document” tab.
If you need to OCR a majority of your documents, you can select “Automatically OCR new PDF files” to save time.
Additionally, there is the option to export all marked copies with the proposed redactions in the color red.
For more details on adding and Redacting Excel documents, please check out our video on how CaseGuard Studio supports Excel, Word, and PowerPoint files.
Click the “Transcription” tab and ensure that your “Transcription Region” is accurate.
Click “Theme” to view the two available themes at this time. The default theme is the Dark theme, and the other option is the new Light theme.
Happy Redacting!
