Final Cut Pro doesn't have automatic scene detection — so I built a tool that does it.
SceneDetect analyzes your video frame by frame, finds every scene change, and generates an FCPXML file ready to import directly into Final Cut Pro.
Just download the app, drag it to Applications, select your video and your FCPXML template, hit detect — and your entire timeline is sliced automatically.
