In this online training we present you a brief introduction into carbon footprint.
We start the course with facts around climate change and carbon footprint definitions and terminologies. Later on, we go into more details regardin green house gases and global warming potentials of different types.
After that we start introducting the measurement of carbon footprint and start by working on the scope. Following that we illustrate an example calculation and discuss certain ways how to reduce the carbon footprint of the organization.
Departing from that, a best practice case and management approach is shown. The german outdoor clothing company VAUDE. We show some facts and figures of the key performance indicators concerning their footprint management.
