Tesla FSD 11 Faults Experienced During 1000+ Mile Road Trip
The NHTSA recap caused Tesla to roll out software updates that are far less forgiving when monitoring that the driver is paying attention to the road. Were these changes justified?
I share my and my mom’s experience with and disclose instances where Tesla’s Full Self Driving Beta v.11.4.4 (mostly) falls a little short during a road trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas. I talk about where it’s lacking and delve a bit into what is required in order to get the technology to the level of a human driver and give my thoughts on the whole NHTSA recall.
