The Target
Target” (also known as “Don’t Buy the Seller”, 2023) is a Korean psychological thriller about the dangers of online second-hand marketplaces.
The movie follows Soo-hyun, a normal office worker who buys a used washing machine through an online resale app. What starts as a small inconvenience (the item is defective and the seller disappears) slowly turns into a nightmare. She begins receiving threatening messages, her personal information gets exposed, and she realizes she’s being systematically stalked.
