QT#55 - Adding a Sparkline to a Power BI Matrix Plus Cool Formatting Ideas
A sparkline is designed to give you a space-saving overview of a trend for a measure. Power BI recently added the ability to add these sparklines to the Matrix.
In this example, I'll create a Power BI Matrix displaying the number of maintenance work orders at each status in the work order workflow.
I'll then add a sparkline that shows the overall trend for the number of work orders at each status and finally offer some ideas on how you can improve the overall readability of a Matrix that has a lot of sparklines.
