About the Session
In this session, you will:
Learn about what is Natural Language Processing and its various areas of applications
Understand the basics of Lexical, Syntactic and Semantic processing
Learn about different text encoding in corpus
Get introduced to common jargon on NLP - Tokenization, Regular Expressions, Word Frequency, Stopwords, Bag of Words, Stemming & Lemmatization
Finally, we will conclude with some problem areas where text analytics is applied.
The session will be delivered by Supriya Raman. Supriya is VP, Data Scientist having 15+ years of experience in IT mainly in BFSI and Retail Domain. She is recognised as Top 10 Women Indian Data Scientists 2021. She is proficient in designing and developing Predicitve Machine Learning and Statistical Modelling Algorithms/Techiques for identifying patterns and extracting data insights. She has been directing end-to-end model development and deployment lifecycle, accomplishing mission-critical user-centric deliveries using Scrum methodology to write succint user stories or epics in Agile framework.
