This video explains the two types of semiconductors - Intrinsic and Extrinsic Semiconductors.

00:20 Intrinsic and Extrinsic Semiconductors
01:10 Intrinsic Semiconductor
01:37 Extrinsic Semiconductor
01:44 Doping
02:05 N-Type Semiconductor
02:41 P-Type Semiconductor

The semiconductor where the conduction of electric current (Electrical Conductivity) is due to movement of electrons and holes (Electron-Hole Pair) known as Intrinsic Semiconductor, which is a pure form of Semiconductor.

But, Electrical Conductivity relies on Impurity atoms (External Impurities) in them. So, to increase the conductivity, some amount of impurity is added to the Intrinsic semiconductor known as Extrinsic Semiconductor. This addition of external impurities (Impurity Atoms) to increase the conductivity, is termed Doping.
