What's UNIQUE about this Drink? | Hungarian History of Unicum
Unicum is one of the most Unique drinks in Hungary. It is an Aperitif that's been part of Hungarian culture and our heritage since the 19th Century. It's not only a special alcoholic liqour that kickstarts Hungarian Family gatherings, but it is also a fascinating tale of how a Family built a business that also became one of the most recognizable brands of the country.
Unicum is a herbal liqour similar to Jaegermeister, but it is much more bitter and unique in taste. There are several different kinds of Unicum products today, each with a very different and unique take on the original drink's recipe that is kept as a secret from the world.
