Hello SimFans and Everyone! Have you ever spilled coffee, water, pop, or how about an Atkins chocolate milk shake all over your keyboard? Important thing is don't panic! Unplug your keyboard from its power source (almost always USB these days) and clean it before it dries.
In this video I will give you tips and tricks to clean your keyboard in such a circumstance. Although this video does not guarantee it will work for you, there is a good chance it will. It's also good to be aware that doing the tips I mention will, in most cases, void your warranty (but so does spilling liquid into it anyway). :)
*Also, please note I say use "distilled water" in the video. I realize bottled water isn't necessarily distilled, but is filtered and should still work like it did for me. If you have distilled water (which I didn't so in a pinch used bottled water instead), do use it.
Hope this helps those out there that may be in despair. Don't worry, you are probably okay, again, just as long as you unplug your keyboard as fast as possible.
