I create 2 virtual machine (VM) using VirtualBox and install 2 different linux distributions on each, and then go through a short tour and review to get you started with both operating systems, or as Linux people call them 'Linux Distros.' This video is at the beginner to intermediate level.

PS I did accidentally named my VM CentOS and installed Ubuntu and visa versa, this does not affect the install.

PLEASE NOTE: VirtualBox is more of a way you can try out different Operating Systems (OS) quickly with out having to blow away your primary computer, have to change the bios boot order, you'll need a 4gb USB stick to boot off and then if you're not happy with the OS then you'll have to restore the previous backup, that's if you remembered to do a backup and if you didn't go down the path of hard drive partition and dual boot option.
OR YOU CAN JUST USE VIRTUALBOX! Quicker, easier.

Depending on your specs, screen tear will prevent you from watching youtube off your VM. If you prefer the OS then install it as your primary OS over the metal (that means on your C drive)
