In this video, we'll discuss ways to prolong sexual intercourse in the presence of #premature #ejaculation.

#Premature ejaculation, or rapid ejaculation, is a condition in which a man is unable to control the timing of ejaculation and therefore is unable to provide pleasure to his partner. The terms "ejaculation" and "evacuation" are not medical.
This is the definition given by the World Health Organization. However, the specific duration of sexual intercourse... is not specified.
You can find numerous medical and popular articles online on the topic of "the average duration of sexual intercourse" (as practice shows, it's 5-10 minutes).
However, specific figures shouldn't be taken into account. After all, if a man feels that the duration of sex is not as long as he would like, the situation must be addressed in any case!
WHY DOES #RAPID #EJECTION OCCUR
It's important to note that in this video, we won't be discussing situations where the duration of intercourse suddenly decreases for any reason: for example, due to sexually transmitted infections or signs of prostatitis, prolonged abstinence, or after a frenulum rupture (when a trigger zone forms at the site of the rupture). In such cases, eliminating the underlying cause completely resolves the problem, as premature ejaculation is merely a symptom of the underlying condition.
We speak of true premature ejaculation when a man has trouble controlling the duration of intercourse without any apparent cause. This means that it's an individual characteristic of a particular person's higher nervous system and is innate (of course, it only manifests itself with the onset of sexual activity).
THE MAIN CAUSES OF PREMATURE EJACULATION
The primary task facing both physician and patient is to understand what exactly triggers the ejaculation process. This is the only way to achieve results.
Let's roughly distinguish two conditions:
First, when ejaculation is influenced largely by the psycho-emotional aspect of sex. That is, feelings, experiences, visual and verbal contact with the partner—in short, everything related to emotions and sensations.
And second, when ejaculation occurs due to increased sensitivity of erogenous zones: primarily the frenulum, foreskin, and glans penis.
I emphasize again that this distinction is very arbitrary, and in real life it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish between these conditions. However, it is possible to determine which is the main factor preventing control of ejaculation duration—psychological factors or local sensitivity. And, accordingly, prescribe the appropriate treatment.
HOW TO ELIMINATE PREMATURE EJACULATION
Now let's talk about the most interesting part: how to prolong intercourse.
Given the various causes of premature ejaculation, treatment approaches will also vary.
For example, a man who finds it difficult to control intercourse due to the intense sensations that occur during sex should resort to tantric sex techniques (where a man and woman learn to have sex together for a long time: using different positions, taking breaks for a while, and inducing pain or discomfort at the peak of an erection). This is also known as sex therapy. This process is quite lengthy, but it really helps. The main disadvantage is the requirement for a consistent (and most importantly, understanding) partner and, of course, regular sexual activity.
Furthermore, for premature ejaculation, which is largely due to psychological factors, tricyclic antidepressants can be taken, which significantly prolong the duration of intercourse. However, drug therapy has not been widely used because the medications used cause apathy and a state similar to depression in healthy people. This means a person can have sex for a long time, but they no longer feel the desire.
For men whose ejaculation is primarily triggered by local sensitivity of the penis, two treatment options are suitable:
the first is the constant use of condoms with anesthetics or simply local anesthetics.
the second is surgical removal of sensitive areas, as with circumcision and frenuloplasty, or almost complete loss of sensation, as with denervation of the glans penis.
Both of these methods produce very good results.
Moreover, local anesthetics allow one to predict whether the surgery will be effective and whether it is worthwhile at all, and also help determine the extent of the intervention. I am now talking about the lidocaine test, or the anesthetic test, which can be performed at home.
But right now, on our UROforum, you can see how our patients' sexual duration has changed after frenuloplasty, circumcision, and denervation. You can also get a free consultation or schedule an in-person appointment there.
Wishing you good health, and see you soon!
