PORTRAITURE | ANATOMY STUDIES | GRAPHITE PENCIL | TIME-LAPSE DRAWING
This video will hopefully show you how I approached the final drawing challenge from a course I undertook with Joseph Daniels, namely, 'Learning to Draw from Beginner to Master', in June 2020.

As with most big tasks, they may appear daunting at first, however, when you break it down into smaller stages, the process of constructing a portrait becomes easier to tackle. There are specific stages one goes through when assessing proportions and ways to make this process easier when first attempting a likeness of your subject.

I hope this video will highlight some of those stages and help anyone who might be taking on a portrait for the first time.

I'm not affiliated in any way with Joseph's course, but if you're considering learning to draw then I'd highly recommend checking his course out 'Learning to Draw from Beginner to Master'

"I'm a self-taught artist passionate about exploring the nuances of realism through drawing. My focus lies in portraiture, figure drawing, and composition.

I primarily work with graphite and charcoal, but I'm also drawn to the expressive qualities of pastels and the versatility of ink. I'm constantly learning and refining my skills, dedicated to pushing my artistic boundaries and bringing my unique vision to life."
