This kit is designed for installing REAR DISC BRAKES (RDB) with a mechanical parking brake on vehicles with a DRUM BRAKE SYSTEM (RBS).
The spacers (washer pattern) are installed on the rear suspension between the beam and the axle stub (rear axle) using high-strength bolts.
Thus, WITHOUT MAJOR DESIGN CHANGES, the beam without brackets "WITHOUT EARS" is transformed into a beam READY for the installation of BRAKE CALIPERS and CALIPERS.
This is an ideal option for upgrading to more EFFICIENT and easy-to-maintain DISC BRAKES without replacing the beam.
