LAWSUIT! Do I need to store my clients' photos?
So, my friends, did you know that deleting your client's photos after delivering them can lead to legal action? How long do you need to store your clients' photos? And should you store them on a hard drive or in the cloud? I share my opinion and experience on many of these questions in this video.
Many beginner professional photographers have this question because it's normal to have limited storage when you're starting out in photography. After all, hard drives are expensive, and cloud storage is an extra expense every month. So, I see many photographers delivering photos to clients and not storing them, deleting them immediately. I've seen many complaints about this, and yes, it can lead to legal action.
