UPDATE: Problem solved with new version of Gopro Studio.

GoPro Studio 2.0.1 Unable to Play File Error - GoPro Hero3 Black

This is the error I am getting when I try to import video files from my GoPro Hero 3 Black camera in GoPro Studio 2.0.1. The error I am getting is the following: "Unable to play file. File may be corrupted or in an unsupported format." I started getting this on GoPro Studio 2.0, and was hoping the update to 2.0.1 would fix this issue. Unfortunately, I am having the same problem. I am getting the same error on two different PCs, one running Windows XP, the other running Windows 8.1. There are a number of users having the same issue, this can be found by searching the forums. Unfortunately nobody has yet managed to find a remedy for this. GoPro customer services seem unaware of this, and unable to help. I tried changing codec packs, but this does not help. I am able to run the software on a third PC, running Widows 8.1 (which GoPro customer services claim not to support). I am posting this in the hope that someone from GoPro will see and manage to replicate.
I will keep looking for a fix, and will post a new video when I find one. Would appreciate if anyone else who found a fix could share it. I believe this must have started happening when something changed on my PC, such as installing some software that conflicts with GoPro Studio, as it used to work before. I tried uninstalling as much software as I could, deleting all registry keys that referred to GoPro and reinstalling the software, but unfortunately nothing helped. I could try resetting my laptop to factory settings, but it's just too much pain. Will probably do it when I get some time, but for the time being, I am lucky to have the Asus Windows tablet, which is the only computer which is able to run GoPro Studio properly, so using that one to edit my videos.
