The Chinese Communist Party thought it could easily take over the Solomon Islands. Not with its military, but by flooding the small island nation with bribes and cozying up to its leaders. One of those leaders however refused to go along, and he almost paid the ultimate price. In this episode of China Uncensored, we interview Daniel Suidani, the former premier of the Solomon Islands' Malaita Province who was ousted from power over his support for Taiwan and opposition to Chinese influence.
