Poet Marc Vincenz engaged by poet Philip Nikolayev in conversation about issus of accessibility in conemporary poetry, and about Marc's verse collection "Gods of a Ransacked Century." The idea was to provide an entry point into the poetics of a contemporary poet, to explain it for the benefit of the general reader and listener, to show how complex contemporary poetry may be understood and appreciated. (The sound quality is unintentionally avantgarde: since this was recorded in an orchard, you can hear the occasional chirring of cicadas and rotary saws becoming the sound of bees.)
