Origin of Bonpo Dzogchen and its doctrinal Attributes / Tri Yung drung
Brief of the Talk:
In this talk, I will discuss the origin of Bonpo Dzogchen in the context of Tibetan history and the tradition of Dzogchen transmission practices. At the same time, I will also cover the philosophical doctrines of Bonpo Dzogchen and its unique features. Knowing the 'Ground, Path, and Fruition' of Dzogchen will help us to comprehend both the similarity and difference between Nyingma and Bonpo Dzogchen practices and doctrines.
The Speaker:
Yungdrung Tenzin Gyamtso aka Tri Yungdrung Marnang Tshang is a Gesh (PhD) scholar from Menri Monastery. He is a Bonpo scholar and a prolific Tibetan writer, who has already six books and numerous articles on his credit. Please read the detail of the speaker in the attachment.
