Can Anyone Teach Me Selenium Testing is the question i'm going to be trying to answer today because i'm in the position to now do so
I'm on a journey myself, a learning journey through which I teach myself test automation
The journey is upskilling myself from a manual software tester to an automation test consultant
My test automation tool of choice is selenium webdriver and programming language is Java
Back to the question at hand, can anyone teach me selenium testing?
Following this question i would ask the purpose of learning selenium. Is it as part of a job requirement? To upskill ones self? Is it a passion and a drive to progress your career from manual to test automation engineer?
I have been a manual tester for a long while now as a contractor and have now moved onto a permanent role
I'm in the process of upskilling myself from a manual tester towards aiming to become automation test consultant
I want to create some impact around the test automation and try to guide the industry in better practice and much more. This is my drive
I have been learning selenium on my own and you could learn it yourself on your own

To start get into some basic programming language like Java, Ruby, Python, Perl...learn the basic concepts
Java is my language for choice and you might wnat to do the same. if you select Java you would want to learn the oops concept, classes, strings, objects, conditional statements and much more
Then turn your attention to selenium, i would encourage you to go for selenium webdriver not the record and play option
Get a free course or paid one to have a structured learning plan through the syllabus of topics to cover while learning selenium on your own
If you go down the paid route then you might want to get a course online and also include a coach in the package or seek a course with a community of support so you are not alone while learning
