What is a PBX (& How it Works)
PBX systems, short for Private Branch Exchange, have been around since the 1960s. They act as the internal telephone network for businesses and manage the routing of inbound and outbound calls.
But times have changed and new technologies emerged. Traditional PBX systems can be expensive to maintain, lack advanced features, and are less reliable than modern PBX systems, like a hosted PBX.
