Porcini Mushrooms in Late September. A Quick Walk Through the Woods
It's late September, it's cold, and mushroom growth is slowing. Nevertheless, my heart is itching to head out into the forest to look for "my" mushrooms. Today, I mostly found porcini mushrooms, but also some aspen and birch boletes. I was aiming for the noble ones.
I don't know if I'll be able to go mushroom picking again; the weather and my free time will tell.
