large hermit crab on mountain in Chaishan Nature Preserve, Taiwan ROC
We had no idea that hermit crabs would live up in a mountain far from the sea, but as we were walking back down the mountain we heard a little scratching sound in the brush by the boardwalk and this is what we saw there. He was as big as my hand!
