"I like to have a hand in my own destiny," Esterphanie St. Juste, a former NYC real estate broker, Uber driver with 11,268 rides, and originator of the 2017 Rideshare Drivers Association that eventually became Rideshare Drivers United. Esterphanie tells an early origin story, a protest in Westwood (Los Angeles County) by drivers that got the deactivations of 1,000 drivers reversed.
