Learn about duplicate, junk and similar contacts, Mergix duplicate search process and results.
After adding the device and linked accounts to the Mergix profile, click on Search for Duplicates;
After the scan is completed, see the search report with a number of duplicate, junk and matching contacts, detected across the accounts.
Duplicate contacts are considered as contact entries with identical contact information, such as the same first & last name.
Junk contacts are all incomplete entries, nameless or one-field contacts.
And, similar contacts are all closely matching contact entries, containing similar or misspelled contact information.
Press on Review each duplicate, to manually select: duplicate contacts you‘d like to merge, junk contacts to remove and similar contacts to merge.
Or hit Remove all duplicates, to start cleaning immediately.
After cleaning is completed, review the results and enable sync on your device, to apply the latest changes, made by Mergix. For more information visit our website: http://mergix.com/
