Most visitors spend three days in Quebec City photographing Château Frontenac from the same terrace angle, crossing the Plains of Abraham without knowing what happened there, and leaving without ever stepping below the walls. This guide fixes that: Day 1 works the Upper Town fortifications and historic foundations before the tour buses arrive, Day 2 drops into Lower Town and the neighborhoods locals actually use, and Day 3 leaves the walled city entirely for a waterfall that dwarfs Niagara and a river that still connects this place to France.
