How to animate your metahuman. In this Unreal Engine 5 metahuman animation tutorial, MizzoFrizzo will show you how to fix the warning/error, "IK retargeter bone chain, Root, was unable to be normalized. Chain too short", as well as, "Pin Bone retarget op refers to non-existant bone to pin, ik_foot_root/ik_foot_l/ik_foot_r", by adding the IK bones to your metahuman, retargeting the mannequins animations onto your metahuman, then replacing the mannequin with your metahuman as a fully-working third-person metahuman character. He'll also show you how to fix the landing animation to make sure your third-person metahuman character works perfectly.
