After Effects & Illustrator - Easy Smooth Circle Burst Tutorial
I really love the combination of using both Illustrator and After Effects. I just feel like the structures of things (anchor points / lines etc.) is way easier to do in Illustrator. So in this video, my technique on creating "Bursts" in Illustrator and (animating them in) After Effects.
Now there's of course tons of other ways to do this. But the cool thing when doing this in Illustrator is, you can also play around with how your lines look (before pasting them in AE). Maybe you want to add a wavy / zig-zag line? Etc. This gives some more room for you to play with.
