Beldersay is Uzbekistan’s big-mountain classic. The headline attraction is a continuous piste of about 3,017 m with ~765 m of vertical—long, sustained, and perfect for strong intermediates and advanced skiers. A long chairlift gains roughly 565 m, and a draglift extends higher to link into the signature descent on the slopes of Mount Kumbel. Compared with Chimgan, Beldersay is steeper and more technical; when conditions align it’s a carving paradise, and with fresh snow the area offers guided off-piste options for experts. Facilities are old-school but practical—tickets, rentals, and simple cafés at the base—and the proximity to Chimgan makes it easy to ski both in a single trip, or pair with modern Amirsoy for a three-resort tour. In this video, we break down the main lift, the long run, ideal timing, and safety tips for first-timers. If you’re ready for Uzbekistan’s longest line in the Western Tian Shan, Beldersay delivers.
