In this comprehensive guide, we'll show you exactly how to gain access to the legendary Old Naxxramas raid in World of Warcraft and unlock the ability to craft coveted Tier 3 set pieces and other exclusive cosmetics. If you've been itching to delve into this iconic dungeon and obtain some of the rarest gear in the game, you've come to the right place!
Before venturing into Old Naxxramas, you'll need to ensure you have already unlocked old Scholomance, which we covered in a previous video. Additionally, prepare yourself by acquiring 2 Righteous Orbs, 4 Truesilver Bars, 6 Large Brilliant Shards, and 5 Arcane Crystals from the Auction House.
Join us as we guide you step-by-step through the process. We'll start by heading into old Scholomance, locating the cracked Argent Dawn Commission, and repairing it with your righteous orbs and Truesilver bars to obtain the Argent Dawn Commission trinket. This is crucial for progressing through the dungeon and ultimately facing Darkmaster Gandling, who drops the valuable Darkmaster's Scourgestone.
Once you've obtained the Scourgestone, it's time to embark on a journey to Light's Hope Chapel, where you'll turn in the quest and gain access to Stratholme. Here, you'll need to defeat enemies and locate the Eye of Stratholme, which will lead you to the Ward of Naxxramas and some much-needed Holy Water.
The real challenge awaits as you make your way to Crusader Square, using the Ward of Naxxramas to unveil the Dread Ward of Naxxramas. With Holy Water in hand, you'll face a race against time to slay Lord Aurius Rivendare on the undead side of Stratholme before reaching the Hand of Naxxramas. But fear not, we'll provide some tips to make this task a breeze.
To proceed further, you'll need to be honored with the Argent Dawn. We'll explain the easiest way to achieve this status and interact with Archmage Angela Dosantos to complete the "Dread Citadel Naxxramas" quest, unlocking the fabled raid.
To enter Old Naxxramas, we'll guide you to the location in Eastern Plaguelands, where you'll find the entrance. Plus, there's good news: after completing the quest, you'll no longer need to keep the Argent Dawn Commission equipped to pick up scourgestones!
